I started the Micronet Information Network (Micronet) on September 1, 2000, as an alternative to other BBS mail networks. In Micronet, we try to keep it small, friendly and something you'll enjoy participating in. We're always looking for more systems and people to participate! You do not have to run a BBS full-time to be a node in Micronet. If you can run as a point in Fidonet, you can be a full node in Micronet. You can run as a point also if you want.

We offer the following feed types in Micronet: FTN (BinkP, FTP, dialup and email), QWK (via Synchronet), and NNTP. If there's a special situation with your BBS, we can work out a way for you to join. We're looking for BBSes that operate software that can gate from FTN and QWK to other networking methods (i.e. WWIV and VADV) also to expand Micronet's breadth in the BBS world.

Micronet is home to InterBBS (IBBS) League 618. We have the following games available: Barren Realms Elite, Falcon's Eye, The Arcadian Legends, Legend of the Red Dragon (InterLORD and LORDNet), GAC Tournament Blackjack, GAC Tournament Freecell, GAC Tournament Wahoo, The Clans, MegaSlots, and ZombieSlots.
